Live LiDAR Room Scanning
Walk through a room with your iPhone and Apple's ARKit RoomPlan builds a structured model in real time: walls, doors, windows, openings and furniture. On-screen guidance shows which areas are still missing.
Interactive Floor-Plan Editor
Every scan becomes an automatic 2D floor plan you can refine. Three editing modes let you adjust walls, doors and windows, edit labels and measurements, and place furniture. Dimensions and floor area update as you edit.
3D Models & USDZ
Turn a scan into a parametric USDZ model that opens in AR Quick Look, and export the raw RoomPlan JSON for your own software.
CAD-Ready Exports
Export DXF for CAD, PDF for print, SVG for the web and design apps, PNG images and CSV measurement tables, and share them through the iOS share sheet.
Object Capture for single objects
For single objects, the app guides you around the object while it takes photos. Your device then reconstructs a textured 3D model locally with Apple's RealityKit, without an internet connection.
Tools for real estate agents
Group scans into a property with address, status, client and energy certificate, and sort the rooms by floor. The app calculates the living area and creates a multi-page exposé PDF with floor plans, room photos, a 3D view and your logo and contact details.
The area standard follows your device region and can be changed in the settings. Area figures are approximate and do not replace a certified measurement. Previewing an exposé is free; sharing it requires Pro.

Supported Devices
LiDAR Room Scanner installs on any iPhone or iPad running iOS 18 or later. Room scanning and Object Capture use the LiDAR sensor of the Pro models; Building Studio, the floor plan editor and the scan library work on every supported device. iPhone
iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, and every Pro / Pro Max model since (13 Pro, 14 Pro, 15 Pro, 16 Pro and newer).
iPad
Every iPad Pro with a LiDAR Scanner, from the 2020 models on. Object Capture needs an iPad Pro from 2021 or later.
Software
iOS / iPadOS 18 or later on any iPhone or iPad. Room scanning and Object Capture use the LiDAR sensor of the models on the left; Building Studio, the editor and the library run everywhere.
Export Formats
Take your scans into AR, CAD, design tools or print. USDZ and RoomPlan JSON export is free; sharing the floor plan exports (DXF, PDF, SVG, PNG, CSV) and the exposé requires Pro, and every format can be previewed for free.
